Vitia
Vitia is Muhju’s first major collection: 50 unique 1/1 dark portraits released on OpenSea in October 2021 (across multiple seasons).
Each piece takes a traditional painting as its base, then layers in 2D/3D assets, photobashing, and hand-painted details to inject expression and new meaning. The series centers on vices, handicaps, afflictions, and the projection of inner madness onto the canvas. Titles are Latin and name specific dark states: MALITIA (malice), IRACUNDIA (wrath), SCELUS (crime/villainy), CALUMNIA (false accusation/oppression), INTERITUS (destruction/death), MAEROR (grief), MENDACIUM (deception), Delirium (insanity), and others.
The collection sold out on primary with roughly 7 ETH in volume and marked the start of Muhju’s Renaissance 2.0 journey. Vitia is Latin for “vices.”
